This project has several modules which are described below:
Schedules and Meetings:
This module will help faculty members to provide their personal schedules,i.e information about their busy and free slots, reminders about something. His/her schedule can be viewed by other faculty members. One can schedule a meeting by looking at free slots of members. Moreover, the system will send a reminder before 5 or ten mins via sms on his mobile, or an email or a popup message on the web page if he is already logged in.
If this is a group meeting, then it will also facilitate the coordinator to mark the attendance online to know who was present or not and note down minutes of meeting too.
Task Management:
This module helps in creating and assigning tasks to faculty members or staff. The person who creates task will be the owner of the task and he/she will be able to track the progress of the task. A person who completes the task will be able to mark it as completed and it will be transferred to the owner so that he can finish the task. This will also help keep track of what different tasks have been assigned to faculty during semester. It will also be used to verify the total tasks a faculty member completed during the evaluation process.
Item and food ordering:
This module will enable the faculty to order office items to DC office online so that DC office will deliver the items via runner in your office. The same facility can be made for ordering food from mess. You can select your desired food and drinks from mess and they will deliver the food. This does not include online payments.
Chat box and Social Media Integration:
Chat box will facilitate for quick exchange of information. Also the web application will be integrated with twitter and facebook, so if someone has already logged in to the social websites then there is no need to log in again on this web application.
